Samsung Galaxy Flex 2 Alpha (11th gen i7, 16GB ram, 500gb SSD). Nothing attached to the laptop except the power cord and Bluetooth mouse connected. Windows 11, all updates.

If you pause a video for more than a minute or two, when you resume the video, all sound on the laptop stops. If you change the volume slider, no sound changes, nothing happens. You can let the video play forever and the sound won't come back. If you pause the video again for at least 30 seconds, the sound to the computer returns whether you unpause or not. I've duplicated this using YouTube (via Chrome browser) and Plex Media Player. This is an intermittent problem so it doesn't happen every time you pause a video.

Any ideas?

The sound problem just started - correct?

Any new software installs or other known recent updates? Other changes prior to the sound problem(s)?

Try reinstalling the applicable video and audio drivers.

Manually download the driveres via the manufacturer's websites. Reinstall and reconfigure as necessary.

No third party tools or installers.

If driver re-installs do not work then reinstall the applications (e.g., Plex Media Player) being used to watch/listen to videos.

Just one app at a time and allow time between successful (meaning audio works as expected/normal) installs. Could be some conflict between apps has been created by updates or configuration changes.

By allowing time between installs you will be able to determine...

By allowing time between installs you will be able to determine what app caused the problem to return.
