I'm getting a Latitude E6430 laptop off of craigslist for 150, I wanted to know if that was a good deal, first of all, and second of all. I want to be able to play some games on it. It will be used moslty for work but to have the ability to play some easy to run games like fortnite on it is good. Is it a good idea to get this laptop and buy an external gpu thing for like 10$? I would get a gtx 960 for like 60$ on ebay. So basically, sorry for rambling on, I want to know if that is a decent pair and/or if that's a good idea to do.

Hello! The Latitude E6430 is a decent deal for 150, i've got a retail store and i buy big bundles of laptops and these E6430 go for around 140 without ssd.

About the external videocard, i would suggest to use a eGPU, external gpu.

Because.. a cheap cable won't do the trick (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDyL2tPyXFA&t=479s), this video's takes a look at the 'cheapest' way in a M2 slot. but.. your's does not have it.

You could try something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TH3jDVuHCD8, with a pci-e cable/dock, on Ali-Express you can find a lot of cheap 'rip-offs'.

The downside is that you need a extra PSU etc.. but if you follow video (Depending on your laptop) it may work.
