Laptop fan can be heard

I can hear my laptop's fan. It's not loud and noisy, nor is it grindy. My laptop is brand new, and I don't think I heard it doing this before. It's not overheating too, as it's not hot when I touch the sides and bottom part. Is this normal or is there something I have to do? I searched on Google, and all I saw is pretty much if your laptop is making a fan "noise" there's a problem with it.

A fan is a moving part that moves air, it makes noise. I am really not sure what you are asking here.
