Laptop Fan Control - Is there a program?

Ok so I'm looking for a program that I can use to control the fans in my laptop. I tried hWinInfo to no avail and also i8kfanGUI but that didn't work either. I've looked around and haven't been able to find a successful program. Do you guys know of any? What shall I do?
