Hi, my Acer Triton 300 - 1660ti - i7 10th gen is around a month old and was bought from Curry's UK.

Recently in the past week the right fan has been making terrible whirring sounds and I've checked for dust or blockage but their is nothing visible. I've contacted Acer and they've asked me to send it off, which could take a long time.

Considering the laptop is almost brand new I don't see how the fan could be broken or something wrong with it. Is this something I can fix myself?

I've attatched a link to a video with the sound.

If you are still within your return/exchange window I would do that instead of sending it to Acer. Even if you are just outside the window, sometimes retailers will allow you to exchange for a new one if you explain/show the issue to a manager.
If that's not an option you'll have to send to Acer. You shouldn't try to fix it yourself since it's still within warranty.
