My laptop fan makes a weird noise after it fell on ground.
So when my laptop gets a little hotter than 50C the fan makes some sort of clicking noise, Like its scratching something. i checked speedfan and it only goes 500 RPM 🙁.
Laptop name: ASUS R505C
(i dont know the fan name just google this:ASUS R505C fan)

- Did you mean R505CB or R505CA? I'm not seeing ASUS R505C anywhere. Does it look like https://www.asus.com/au/Laptops/R505CB/ ?

- Broken laptop parts can often be replaced. It sounds like the fan is damaged, but I would be concerned about the HDD being damaged as well.

- Do you have an applicable warranty on it still? If so, do not try and open the thing up yourself if you have accidental coverage. If you don't have a warranty you can go to a shop to do it or try replacing it yourself. If you haven't worked inside laptops before I recommend just having a shop replace the fan for you and check the HDD while it's there. Generally ultrabooks and laptops are not designed to be opened up by their owners for repair and often voids warranties, in addition possibly making the problem worst if you don't know what you're doing.

I looked on some websites and i bought a new Fan for my laptop, it wasn't really expensive so i just did that.
i will look for some fan replacement tutorials on the internet, and then i hope that my problem is solved.
thank you for the advice.
