Laptop fan stopped working after cleaning

Hi all,

I have a compaq laptop CQ60. It's been making a lot of noise recently but so i tried to clean the air vents with blowing compressed air the noise went down but not that much so i thought i'll blow more air through the vents. When I turned it on all the noise went away I was happy at first until it was getting really hot and then realised the CPU fan wasn't spinning anymore. All i did was blow air through.

you don't just blow air up the laptops fan...you need to dis-assemble it to clean it properly. right now something is probably stuck that is keeping the fan from spinning. have a laptop tech take a look.

you should only blow air with the fans working hard so the dust break into pieces and doest maque the fan stuck, no need to disassemble the notebook, just try to blow again with it working to force the fan to relese maybe it works, i usualy use a strong aspirator

if you don't dis assemble your laptop to clean, there's gonna be residue on it if your just gonna blow air.
