Laptop for Cyber Security Major

Hello guys, I'm gonna be studying Cyber Security for the next 3 years, and I'm wondering what is the best option for a laptop to get?

- I know the vast majority of cyber apps will be native to Windows. My mind in a loop right now, and I can't decide which I actually want. What are the specs of a good laptop?

- I was thinking of getting a gaming laptop (Lenovo Y-50), but it's really expensive.
I hope you guys can help me with some information.

You should be pretty good with a laptop that has an Intel Core i5 or AMD A10 CPU, at least 6GB of RAM, probably a better graphics card than the integrated ones(though those are fine unless you're also going to do 3D designing and gaming).
