Question Laptop for Photoshop

I'm looking for a laptop that would work for editing CR2 and CR3 images in Adobe's Camera Raw program, and could handle some light video editing in Filmora. Currently I'm looking at an M1 Macbook Air but if I could I'd like to save a bit of money as the model with 16GB of storage is $1,200. I've also looked at a couple Dell XPS laptops that seem to be a bit cheaper I just wasn't sure about the comparison of Apple's chips to Intel chips. I'd also like to find a 13 or 14 inch screen so it's easy enough for me to travel with. Storage isn't an issue as I use cloud storage and external drives for most of my storage.
