Laptop for streaming

We have ibuy power desk top and an Elgato. Now my son wants another laptop to stream and upload you tube videos with SD card. What kind of laptop will he need to get this done. Or does he have what he needs already to do this. Please help

Most laptop come with an SD card reader in them. Any laptop will do that's newer than 2005

What do you mean by streaming. Do you mean that you will be streaming the contents of the screen to youtube or do you mean that you will be watching things on youtube?
