Hello people,
I'm looking to buy a laptop for school and gaming. I found 2 great deals but can't decide which of them I should buy. The first one is a hp power pavilion 15-cb030nd with a i7 7700hq, 8gb ram, 128 GB SSD + 1tb HDD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 2gb. This one will costs €1000
And the other on is the Asus fx502vm-fy109t which has a i5 6300hq, 8gb ram, 256 GB SSD( + Seagate firecuda 1tb) Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3gb and this one altogether costs €1220. Which one should I choose?

Hello,

since gaming is a priority, i'd suggest choosing one with gtx 1060. you'll be making one time investment and it will serve you better in the long run. Have you looked at Acer Helios 300?I'm not sure abt euro prices but according to the below article, it's another laptop in the 1000 Euro range and it has gtx 1060 (6GB).

GTX 1060 (laptop) benchmarks:

I'd choose the Asus laptop over the HP since it's got a better GPU onboard and the SSD is of a larger capacity(provided you're not listing the drive as an SSHD). If the SSD is in fact an SSHD(the firecuda) then you're better off getting the HP model.
