my friend want to buy new laptop for university. Can you help please?

1. What is your budget?

500-1000€ (rather less that 1000 please)

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

" not to small" I would say she should be happy with 15"

3. What screen resolution do you want?
1080p+

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
portable

5. How much battery life do you need?
not that important

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
no gaming

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
nothing fancy, basic programing, watching streams etc.

13. What country do you live in?

It depends on how much virtualization there will be, if there will be a lot, 16gb of ram will be needed, so something like this. If not much, you can drop to 8gb ram like this.

In the end, since it's just basic tasks and programming, you will want to look for lot's of ram, 16gb is ideal, and a cpu with 4+ cores/8+ threads.
