Hey guys, after having to return a xiaomi notebook pro, I'm looking for a replacement.

Budget - 850 or less(i'm from portugal and prices are really inflated)

Size - 15'' or 14'', maximum 2 kg/4.5 lbs (need to carry it on my back everyday)

Resolution - I think Full HD is enough(1080p)

Battery - 6 hours minimum (more the better)

Use - Light gaming on low, a light photo editing and a LOT of programs and chrome tabs open at the same time for projects

Srorage - I think 256gb might be enough in the beggining and i'll expand when i need

Other info - i think 8 gen i5 and mx150 might be enough, 14'' is prefered because the main objective is lighweight, would aprreciate clean look

Thanks in advance!

I have found a couple that meets your requirement. I didn't really know what website to use for the euro currency, so used Amazon(Spain) they deliver to the UK, which is where I live, so hopefully, it's the same for you.

Unfortunately, I could not seem to find a decent MX150 laptop, only an MX130. The last option is a bit of an alternative that you could consider.

Acer Aspire 5 (A515-52G-73ML ) EUR 749,99
  • i7-8565 Quad core - 8th Gen
  • 8GB DDR4
  • 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD
  • MX130 (See benchmarks here)
  • 15.6" Full HD 1080 - 1920 x 1080
  • 8 hours according to Acer, but realistically more like 4-6 to be honest
  • 1.8KG
HP Pavilion 14 (ce0002ns) EUR 769.00
  • i5-8250u Quad core - 8th Gen
  • 8GB DDR4
  • 256GB SSD
  • MX130
  • 14" Full HD 1080p - 1920 x 1080
  • 11 hours according to HP, but realistically probably around 5-7
  • 1.59KG
Lenovo Ideapad 530S-14IKB EUR 789,00
  • i7-8550u Quad core - 8th Gen
  • 8GB DDR4
  • 512GB SSD
  • Intel HD 620 (See benchmarks)
  • 14" Full HD 1080p - 1920 x 1080
  • 5 hours according to Amazon reviews
  • 1.59KG

I have found two more for you to take a look at. Unfortunately, I could not find a laptop with 16GB RAM with an MX150 or higher (on Amazon anyway):

HP Pavilion 14-ce0014ns EUR959,00
  • i7-8550u Quad core
  • 8GB DDR4
  • 256GB SSD
  • MX150 4GB GDDR5
  • 14" 1080p - 1920x1080
  • 1.59KG
  • 6-8 hours roughly according to reviews

Acer Swift 3 SF314-52G EUR849,00
  • i5 8250u Quad core
  • 8GB DDR4
  • 256GB SSD
  • MX150 2GB GDDR5
  • 14" 1080p - 1920x1080
  • It is unfortunately heavier at 2.7KG
  • Acer say 10h battery life, more like 4-6 hours according to review
The HP does look a good package, top of the line i7 processor from Intel's power-efficient line and the 4GB MX150 is pretty neat (Obvious no monster gaming graphics card but is pretty decent for light gaming) and only 1.59KG.
