Hi,
I just got a new laptop, Asus TUF Gaming
Specs are:-
Intel Core i5 8th Gen 8300H
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060
8 GB 2666 DDR4 Ram
Windows 10 (1803)

Mentioned game is Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition ( high preset from in-game menu) 1080p

The laptop works fine doing basic tasks like watching videos on YouTube, working with excel or word, but for some reason as soon I try to play a game the game would either not run or run at 5-6 frames per second.
I thought this was maybe caused by game using the Intel uhd graphics so I changed the global setting in the Nvidia control panel, but nothing.
I tried Unigine Heaven 4 benchmark tool
As soon as it would start and we would move to the 2nd scene with the blip like boat the laptop would either freeze or give intelppm.sys with unexpected kernel mode trap bsod, the fps is fine (60-90) while the test works. I am on the lastest drivers provided by Nvidia and I have tried installing drivers both from GeForce experience and manually.
I have checked the disk and the memory for faults using chkdsk and memory diagnostic tool and no faults were found.
Since it's possible to get a replacement from Amazon I don't want to clean install windows as that may cause problems in the process, any help would be appreciated
As I basically need this laptop for deep learning working GPU is a must
