I have Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52 laptop. It has Core i7 8th Gen 8750H Processor 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD, GeForce GTX Graphics 1050 Ti- 4 GB, 230GB Samsung Nvme SSD.
It is running Windows 10 22H2, build 19045.2604
Today I experienced this issue twice. I was working in Cinema4D and my laptop froze all of a sudden with these glitchy artifacts appearing on the screen.
It was on charging. Then I rebooted my laptop and there was no display. I tried restarting it multiple times by force power down by holding the power button but encountered the same, (more on the power button later). In order to find out whether windows OS got corrupt or some hardware issue, I kept presssing F2 and Del to enter the BIOS. I got blank screen. I realized that the laptop was giving a beep sound on switching off/on the charger during that time. That beep sound always comes whenever I switch on the power from the mains during the bootup of laptop. While usage of laptop normally, that beep sound never came.
Then, I forced powered it down. I left it switched off for 20 minutes or so, no charging happening during that time. Then it booted normally after me successfully pressing the power button. I ran "chkdsk /f /r c:" in admin cmd prompt after reaching desktop screen. I restarted and then it checked for errors at startup and I noticed that it was fixing errors too during the percentage progress that showed up.
Everything went fine for an hour after which I put my laptop to hibernate like I do frequently. After 30-40 minutes passed by, I switched it on again. Then I was working on it without having it plugged in. After 45 minutes of working then I faced the same issue of glitchy artifacts on screen and laptop freezing. Both of these troubles happened while doing very basic and light weight 3D modeling in Cinema4D.
I am using latest Nvidia studio driver version 528.49 . Have my graphics drivers got corrupt? I haven't installed any new software, neither done any major windows update in the last 7-8 days (or more as far as I can recall). At first I thought that it was screen trouble. But now I am unable to figure out.
I have been also having an issue of pressing the power button for 5-6 seconds to have my laptop startup since I guess July or August 2022. I created a thread here.

It was mentioned that "Don't press down too hard, otherwise you may damage the internal hardware.". Have I damaged something internal accidentally?

Apparently, there is a pressurized micro-switch somewhere in the middle of the keyboard, near the letters X C V D F. I pressed down near that spot and push the power button at the same time, and finally the laptop turned on. For safe measure, I put pressure on the spot below the letters of the keyboard. This also works the same way when typing with other keys on the keyboard.
