Im buying a new computer "laptop" to work on and i want to play some games on it. the computer is a HP Elitebook 820 g2. intel core i5 clocked at 2.2ghz can be overclocked to 2.7 and 4 gb ram 1600mhz ddr3l. its an intel hd 5500 in it. i may upgrade the ram so i get 4x4 1600mhz so i get 8gb ram. will it play games at decent level? not ultra or anything just medium-high. if i over clock and add an extra 4gb of ram will it be good enough for gaming? its the only computer i can buy so dont suggest an other pc.

^ This.

Sorry, but the integrated gpu you'll be using will most probably not be sufficient to run the newer gpu-intensive games at playable framerates even on lowest settings.

RAM wouldn't be the limiting factor here, it'd be the cpu and the gpu. To further answer, which games do you plan on playing?

Heh yeah.. Well you could run them at lower resolutions for a mild fps boost..
