I'd say that vrumor meant that it will not work at maxed out settings.

In term of MWF2 working, I also distinctively remember that I used to played the game using an ancient Geforce 8500GT so I'm sure that you can play it with the GT 310m, just, again, not at a good resolution/graphics settings.

I did upgraded to a GT220 1GB DDR2 (48 CUDA cores vs 16 of the GT 310m) and while I got to up the settings to some mixed med-high, the game would crash if I tried to move all settings to high/highest.
