Laptop GPU ..

This feels like a very noobish question, but are there any GPUs that fit into laptops? Would it be the same PCI port on a desktop mobo? I have an hp probook 4545s if that helps.

Likely what you have inside your notebook is what you are stuck with...Very few notebooks had replaceable graphics, and they were very high end/expensive units. Better off replacing notebook

Only a very few lines and models of laptops allow changing the graphics subsystem for a better one.

Yours is not on that list.
