Laptop graphics upgrade from a HD 4000?

Hello,

I have more cash than i thought after buying my new i5 ivy bridge, 6gb RAM samsung laptop.

How do i determine 1. if i can upgrade and 2. what kind of upgrade can i get?

You can't upgrade the GPU in a laptop, unfortunately.

Yes, true. If you can, trade it in for one with better graphics....

Although there is something called a "VDock" that allows you to dock a graphics card in the box and connect it to the laptop and a monitor, but the cost of the graphics card and the VDock itself is so high you might as well build your own PC.
