laptop gtx 1060 cant use up then 2gb ram

Im buy new laptop before week
and i noticed if i play games using gtx 1060
ram use only 2gb
but if i use intel gpu use ram
4gb or higher

My spec

i7 7700hq
gtx 1060 6gb
ram ddr4 16gb

Note
this laptop use dual gpu gtx1060
and intel hd graphics 630

Im use task manager to see ram

Im tested in

Fortnite
No mans sky

if anyone has a solution please help

Your GTX 1060 isn't using your system ram. It uses dedicated V-ram that is separate from the ram you see in task manager. Your Intel graphics uses your system ram, that you see in task manager.

No, you misunderstand.

For the Intel graphics, the game executable appears to be using 2gb of system ram and 2 gb more system ram for the integrated graphics (iGPU)
When using the 1060, the game executable is using 2gb of ram but 0gb more system ram for the graphics because the 1060 has built in memory that is not counted as part of the system ram.

To see how much GPU ram, known as VRam, is being used you need another app. Something like GPUz, GPU Shark, or MSI Afterburner would work for that.
