Laptop hard disc is appearing but not open the drives

i have laptop hard disc and it is connected to USB IT'S detected and appearing but not open the drives in explorer.

Have you checked the HDD in your Device Manager?
If so, go a little further and check for partitions and populate the devices.
If everything shows up correctly then you will see the drives on the HDD
If something is wrong with the HDD physically you'll end up having to wait for too long before it shows a partition or tells you to format the drive
