I've got a 1TB drive from an HP I5 laptop and wish to install into a HP laptop with an AMD A8 processor, can it be done? Whats on either is of no consequence.

I've got a 1TB drive from an HP I5 laptop and wish to install into a HP laptop with an AMD A8 processor, can it be done? Whats on either is of no consequence.

Assuming this is a regular SATA drive, and the new laptop can use that, moving the physical drive is no problem.

It will need a full reinstall of the OS and everything else.
