laptop hdd problem

One day my laptop suddenly got shut down..when I booted .it requires some keys
2.I extract the HDD and connected but still system doesn't detected it but a sound was there ...
3 when I opened HDD ...the head was on its position but the disc wasn't spinning. I coverd immediately.
# I made all the necessary precautions n seen lots of video performing the same.
@ will it work if i change the HDD pcb?

Chances are that it's not recoverable since you already opened it up. You could've tried TestDisk while the disk was physically intact to see if you could retrieve its contents.
