I am trying to clone my HDD to a hybrid SSHD for my laptop. I just bought this SSHD and wanted to know how can I clone it.

Also would it still work if I already installed a windows 7 on the new SSHD? If can post website where I can buy cables or whatever method you think will work start off with the free stuff software wise and cheap for cloning the stuff. Answer soon plus want this SSHD in already.
Oh I have windows 7 home premium if you needed to know.

If possible too so me step by step for my HDD and SSHD please.

Solution
Hey there, Droyd09!

I'd suggest you to do a clean install if you have the OS installation disk because this is the recommended way to go about HDD upgrade.
However, if that's not an option, cloning is the next suitable solution.
The already present Windows 7 on your SSHD won't work if it was installed on another computer/laptop. You'd need to install the OS from your laptop, because it communicates with the motherboard itself and the HDD/SSHD is just the storage carrier.
Here are a couple of tutorials on how to install your new drive:

It works the same way as any other storage upgrade installation, so don't pay attention to the fact that these are SSD tutorials :)

Hope this helps! Keep me posted!

What free program can I use for this? That you know will work or can show how to use. I have clonezilla but don't know how difficult it will be to use or even know how to use yet. I am going to use cable to ubs port to my SSHD.

Hey there again, Droyd! :)

Your cloning software should work, but just case, here's a thread with some suggestions for third-party cloning utilities you could use: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2572639/laptop-hdd-transfer-hybrid-sshd.html

Good luck! Hope I was helpful! ^^
