Laptop Hp 530 power problem

Hello,My Laptop hp530 just went off afeter I left it off the charger for sometime. When I connected the charger, it could not charge. It is not even shoswing the charging led light. I left it overnight on the charger, but it is still very silent. Has the battery drained completely? Can anyone please help?

Is it the battery, or the power cord. Try a different power cord.
