Hey guys,

My parents are thinking of getting a laptop for my little sister and mainly she will be playing Minecraft on it. I would like some ideas for a decent laptop (not too expensive) that will run Minecraft without causing problems.

Thanks,
Jake.

I recommend the following 15.6" Dell Inspiron Laptop from Bestbuy for $380. It has the current 4th generation "Haswell" Core i3-4010u CPU which has the Intel HD 4400 graphics core. It is more than capable of playing Minecraft at 1366x768 resolution. Video reviews have shown the HD 4400 is capable of playing Minecraft at up to 1920x1080 resolution with pretty decent performance (above 28 FPS).

This is a new laptop, not used or refurbished.

Here is a 15.6" Toshiba - Satellite for $360. It is similar to the above Dell. The difference is probably the hard drive capacity...
