[SOLVED] Laptop into a desktop

i have an HP pavilion m6-1062sr that had a broken screen and hinges so i got rid of the display and want to convert it to a desktop, the issue im having is that there is no signal on the external monitor and i need some help to find a solution.

hold the function key and hit F4, that should be the external monitor. Depending on the computer it might mirror the laptop screen and external screen the first time, second time my just be the external screen, third time will switch back to laptop screen and turn off the external screen.

make sure you have graphics/video drivers installed on that pavilion, most of hp laptops doesnt display on external devices while on bios or before the video drivers are loaded propely,
