Hi all, moved to college and got a new laptop. It's and Acer Aspire V5-591G. Anyway, semester is over and I come back home and as soon as my laptop connects to the internet, it causes the router to crash, forcing me to reset it. After 5 attempts I have given up.
Note: I'm not very tech savvy so go into detail.
Things I've done:
1. Set my laptop on High performance. I read that there could be some conflict between 802.11n and other power options. Didn't work.
2. Reset my router
3. Reset my laptop
4. Router Firmware IS up to date.
Side note: No other devices do this. Tablets, phones, both of my parent's laptops, also my old laptop, PS4, Xbox, you name it, it all works. All connect to the internet perfectly, causing no issues to the router. Any help/advice would be great.
Also, router does not restart. I have to manually unplug it and plug it back in. Feelsbadman
