Question Laptop keeps shutting itself down

Hi

I bought ASUS G752 17.3" Intel Core i7 Windows 10 32GB RAM 1000GB Gaming Laptops Silver from new, initially, it worked fine.

After the warranty ended it now keeps shutting itself down for no reason.

It had Windows on initially then I changed it to Linux I tried 2 different versions which did not make any difference whatsoever, it now is running Windows 11 but again it is shutting itself down for no reason.

The battery is dead so it will not let me update the bios it tells me I need 40% of the battery to run this. Unless anybody has a workaround?

Has anybody any ideas how I can make this laptop stable?

When was the last time you cleaned inside ?
over time the fins on the heatsink get clogged and cause higher temps.
At 6-7 years old it is way past time for a cleaning and maybe re-paste.
