Hey! I hope this is the right place to post, if not I'm sorry! :/

I would like to buy an MSI GE60 laptop (http://www.ldlc.ch/fiche/PB00171205.html), but it comes with a french keyboard, which I am allergic to... Is it possible to change individual keys on the keyboard to make it US international?

Also, does that PC seem okay for a little gaming and use of engineering programs (matlab, solidworks etc)? If you recommend another PC, please keep in mind it has to be shipped to France or Switzerland, budget is around 1000 chf/ 950eur ! :)

Thanks for your help!! 😀

you could replace the individual keys--but thats too time consuming and costly

you could get stick on key board letters/symbols thats cheap but doesnt look so great

the solution already given is the best option really

replacing a laptop keyboard is usually straight forward and simple

usually 2 or 3 screws on the underneath holding the keyboard

sometimes a couple for the top part of palm rest

under a 5 minute job and a 1maybe 2 out of 10 difficulty

good thinking

though very carefully if the mechanism comes off with it they can be a bitch to get back on

had to replace a load of those scissor mechanisms once on an ibm--total frustration

personally i would just swap keyboards its quick and easy
