Question Laptop lags while charging ?

Greetings,
For the past weeks, I'm experiencing this issue. When I play a game & my laptop is charging, the systems starts to massively lag for around a minute, then it stops- and happens again in few minutes.
When the laptop isn't charging, this issue doesn't happen at all.

Have anybody got a solution to this?

I have had the laptop for around 2 years now.

Could be that the combined power demands of gaming and recharging are more that laptop/charger/battery can keep up with.

Make and model laptop? Has the battery ever been replaced?

Review the laptop's User Guide/Manual regarding laptop use and battery charging. All too easy to slip into some pattern that is supported. Or forget some other relevant requirement.

Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor (use both tools but only one tool at a time) to observe system performance.

Objective being to discover what happens when the lagging occurs.

What resource(s) are being used, to what extent (%), and what is using any given resource?
