I want to make a custom projector for my xbox 360 and my computer. I want to use a 1920x1200 LCD panel so that it supports 1080p and 1600x1200. LCD panels with this resolution on newegg are minumum 23" which is too big. They also cost alot of money. Because of this i was thinking about getting a laptop LCD replacement panel. They have panels with this resolution in 15.4" and they only cost $425. My question is how can i equip one of these panels with a VGA or DVI input? Could i just get an inverter board from a different monitor and plug a laptop panel in? Any help in a way to attach a VGA input to a laptop panel would be extremely apreciated. I was looking at this Panel by the way http://www.screentekinc.com/Dell__Precision__M60--15.4_lcd_screen--(1920_x_1200)_WUXGA.html ... Also, would "truelife, XBRITE, trubrite" technollogy be good for a projector or would it diffuse the light passing through it or something? Thanks in advance.
