Laptop microphone won't work in WIN 10

Issue: Laptop Microphone does not work with Gtalk with Firefox 47.0 in Windows 10

Note:
1. Microphone (Conexant SmartAudio) works well with Skype.
2. USB Headset microphone works with Gtalk (Firefox) but the laptop built-in microphone does not work.
3. Laptop Speakers work with Gtalk (Firefox)
4. When I place a call, I can hear the person called but the person I’m calling can’t hear me.
5. Laptop microphone was working well with Win 8.1

Have exhausted all known options to resolve this issue.
Please help else will reluctantly have to downgrade to Win 8.1

Built-in laptop Microphone works with Skype.
USB headset microphone works with Gtalk & Hangouts.
