Question Laptop Motherboard issue？

So, I recently got one of my friends old laptops that he had after a long time, and now I'm tryna restore it. First, I had it sent to a repair place which fixed/replaced the cpu but now, when I try to turn on the laptop, it boots up for 5-10 seconds, and then instantly turns off again. I've unplugged/removed everything I can, and it's still having this issue. Anyone got any idea whats going on？

Why are you trying to power the laptop without it's cooling solution? Remove the battery and ram, press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds, then try with one stick of ram.
