Laptop Motherboard Replacement?

I got a $1000 laptop 1.5 years ago from toshiba and the motherboard is dead and can't find where to buy the motherboard from expect toshiba but the price is $600 which is too much for the motherboard because I can buy the exact same laptop used for $560.
Where can I get a motherboard
