So recently my wifi would be fine, but at some points it would be able to even connect, and if it did the speeds would be insanely slow. I decided to take apart my laptop again and it turns out there is only one wire/cable connected to the wifi card. Knowing from my experience with laptops, there's usually 2 wires going to the card. There is only one connected from the receiver by the laptop camera, and the other one can't be found.

The model #: RTL8188EE

I'm also looking for a new one, so fixing the connection problem and new card would be awesome.

Edit: Somehow I broke the only connector to the wifi card -_- How do I fix it?

Solution
should be able to pry open the end of metal bit with watch makers screwdriver put wire back in and crimp it with pliers

or bare more wire put it round metal connector and twist till good tight connection

or solder wire to connector

When I worked for an IT dept, the laptops would have two wires going to the nic, and yes the connector housing just got separated from the wire itself.

I just jammed the wire back in and put some electrical tape to hold it together. At some point I'll need a soldering kit. Thanks for the help!
