I have a lenovo G50 laptop which is 9 months old. From the past 2 weeks its having problem with accessing internet wirelessly. The wifi symbol shows as connected to the router(tp-link) but it cant access the internet through it.Network works fine through wired connection and the router works well with other devices. Checked the laptop with other wireless networks and the same problem exists. Trying to reinstall all the drivers but still there is no change. Using windows 7 on laptop and scanned the whole system for virus through free AVG, tried to troubleshoot the network and it says cant access DNS server. The network symbol is on yellow exclamation triangle mark, it shows connected to the router and router shows the name of laptop in connected devices list. Please suggest on how to make it work.

Solution
Did you somehow set a different DNS server in IPV4 properties? Make sure you are set to not only receive an IP but also DNS automatically.
Also check your internet proxy settings and make sure it is not checked to use a proxy.
I would also turn off IPV6.
Google how to do these if you aren't sure how...

Solution
1) Open Network and sharing center.
2) Click on Wireless network connection.
3) Goto properties.
4) Select ipv4 & click properties.
5) Make sure both options are set on obtain automatically / If they already are then try placing these values in DNS 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 and save it.
