Hey guys

Two weeks ago my laptop stoped working and could not boot anymore, only to a bsod (fatal error), nothng on the startup repair was working (system restore, cmd, safe mode...)
i tried using a bootable usb with win8.1 and 10, but wasn't detected, i tried downloading a win copy from microsoft and burned it on a cd, same thing.
So the next thing i did is taking the HDD out and formatting it using another laptop, i put it back and tried to install windows from a usb & cd (did a reset to bios and changed boot order) but it says "no bootable device, insert boot disk and press any key".

Guys i really need you help to fix this problem (+2 weeks without laptop)

Thank you so much

Hey
sorry for the late reply
Update : i managed to install windows on my hard drive using another laptop, but when i put it back in my laptop i get the same error message : no bootable device, insert boot disk and press any key.
So i guess there is something wrong with the computer or BIOS (yes i can boot to BIOS)

I just checked, no i'm not able to see the HDD in BIOS

so laptop doesn't see it in bios, but the drive functions perfectly fine in the guts of another computer..
seems to me the SATA hardware is dead, and if thru this means new motherboard in most cases.

can your bios identify the cdrom player (if you have one) ?
