I have a Dell XPS L502X and the battery won't charge. I suspect it is a motherboard problem now.
I have the exact same 130W power lead, from a Dell Latitude E6230. While both leads will charge the battery inside the Latitude, neither of them will charge the battery inside the XPS.
I have tried different batteries inside the XPS, and none will charge.
I have replaced the power jack inside the XPS, which didn't help.
The only thing I can think of doing is testing the battery connectors on the motherboard. Can anyone tell me how to do that?
Or is there something else that I should be testing?
