Laptop not functioning properly after I received it from repairservice. [Windows 8.1]

My laptop CASE was broken, it was still under warranty so I had it repaired. When I got it back they also updated the BIOS and stress-tested my HDD as far as I know.

Now,

- Hyper-V will NOT work.
- Time and date is messed up.
- Windows Update does not work.

I discovered this from 1 day of usage.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Well if it still under warranty, ring 'em back up and discuss it. Your laptop should work - they should fix it. Dell, for example, would probably log in remotely so you might have your fixes straight away (not sure what type of laptop you have)

I did, they told me they can't tell me because they don't know what they did because they are just from servicedesk.

Well, I don't really feel comfortable anymore to send them my laptop after they "repaired" it already.

Why is it booting from PXE? you are trying to boot from a network device? If you are only booting from your hard drive do this

1.Open your bios
2.Go to the boot tab, and open boot priority
3.Set the first boot device to the hard drive in that list
4.*If you see the option PXE here, disable it*

If that doesn't work
Go to the advanced tab (if you have it)
Press enter on sata configuration
Change IDE to AHCI mode

Go to the boot tab, disable fast boot and enable launch CSM

Edit: You can also enable the hyper-v function in your bios, most likely under the advanced tab

It does not have an advanced tab.

I enabled Hyper-V in my bios and on my OS.
It was already set to AHCI,

My HHD is priority number 1. (EFI)

(LEGACY)
Sata HDD = 1
Network boot = 2

Can't change anything here though.

Just to make sure. You have attempted to change your time in the BIOS, and within Windows but it still reset after each reboot?

Edit: When changing the clock within Windows, there is a tab that says "Internet time" click on that tab, select "change time settings" "sycnhronize with an internet time server" and input time.windows.com
