The laptop I got here is a Lenovo Yoga 520 14IKD model 80YM and it has a M.2 slot. Because of this I bought a WD Green 240GB M.2 2280 SSD, the problem is that it just doesn't work.
I already attempted changing settings in the BIOS and messing with Windows configurations; nothing worked. Then, after everything failed, I installed this same SSD on both my desktop and my friend's desktop. The thing worked on both. After this, then, I thought it could be a damaged M.2 slot on the laptop, but it also failed to see/read a regular 2.5" SSD (can't remember model. It's a SanDisk one from like 3 years ago) installed on the slot where the factory HDD is.

I even tried removing the hdd (that has the OS installed) and installing it on the SSD, but the installation says there is no drive avaliable; it doesn't appear there as an option.

Am I missing something? Cuz the factory 5400rpm hdd is driving me nuts.
