Question laptop not responding after some time

My laptop is not responding. After booting, it is working fine. But after few minutes, it stops responding.
I found a fix online. It was to stop Superfetch and BITS in Services. I did that and it worked for some time. But then it again became unresponsive.

The slow responsiveness of the computer is due to two variables:

1. The best upgrade: Hard Drive: You have a 5400 RPM hard disk drive. This should be upgraded to a Solid State Drive for maximum performance. Keep in mind this route will require a new installation of windows, which you would want to create a bootable usb beforehand with a bootable image of Windows.

2. The (second) best upgrade: Memory: You have 2 GB of memory. This could be upgraded to 4 GB. You would have to refer to the manufacturer's webpage to find the compatible memory for your computer.

You don't have to reinstall windows per se. If you clone your drives you'll just have the exact same PC like before but with an SSD. If it's a samsung SSD you can use the Samsung Data Migration Software. https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools/
