Hi,
My Lenovo Y570 stopped "seeing" my WiFi Network suddenly.
It does see all my neighbors' networks (of course can't connect to them as they're password protected). I also turned my cellphone into a WiFi hotspot and the laptop picked it up right away and could connect without issues.
For the modem - everything else in the house connects to it without problem (1 other laptop, 3 smartphones, 1 Samsung TV).
So what can be so specifically related to the individual Laptop-Modem set-up that doesn't work??

Thanks!!

Solution
If you open a command prompt box and type ipconfig /all it will return all of the information about your connections and adapters, including the physical address (MAC address). Just look under the wireless adapter for its physical (MAC) address.

Thanks but it doesn't help.
When I first got into manage wireless networks there was nothing there, so I added manually my wifi network - restarted, didn't see it; deleted it, restarted, still didn't pick it up. Meanwhile it sees other 14-15 networks around my house.
I simply don't get it what's wrong.

It's still the original 7.
Sorry - but I looked in the Network adapter's properties - can't find its MAC address. Any advice?

Thanks

Thanks - I realized that - and entering the MAC address didn't help either.

However - what helped was completely factory reset the router - changed the SSID...and the laptop picked up the network. Not sure why that was - but I'm glad finally I got the WiFi on that laptop back!

Thanks anyways for the advice/help.

Cheers
