Question Laptop not starting

Greetings,

I have an HP elitebook 2560p laptop that was working perfectly until yesterday,

I was watching YouTube when suddenly it powered off completely,

since then when I press the power button the fan works and the keyboard lights turn on but the screen is dead as if the laptop wasn't powered on,

I tried connecting the laptop to another screen using a VGA cable but the screen shows nothing,

I then tried testing the RAMs on another laptop and they were working fine,

I also tried the hard disk on another laptop and it works normally,

I don't know what else I can do please help me.

Sounds like your motherboard died. I'm afraid if this is the case then there's nothing you can do but get a new laptop.

The good news is that since all the parts are still good, if you get another laptop that uses the same RAM and drives, you can just get it as an empty laptop and not pay extra for parts you already have. That should cut a good amount off the price.
