My kids have dell xps 15 which has thunderbolt inlet(?) that can charge (manual says). The power brick says 130w. I had an idea of using magnetic charger converter but the max seems to be 87w, and magnetic converters seem to be focused on apple laptops.
My kids don't use the laptop for games. Mostly school work or such. No heavy use of the gpu. But I read somewhere that 87w power is not enough for xps15. Just how bad can it get? Thanks.

Asked the dell customer service as well. It has 130w charger for the new models. But the sales guy said that my older laptop can't use this charger. Mine is xps15 9560. It has thunderbolt port and description says good for power in, but....
