Laptop on no display at all

My acer laptop turns on fan starts and stops after few seconds and then again it starts everything works but no display. I cannot hear the sound of HD. Laptop may work if i left if off for a day or more some of the times. The problem is not with RAM any other solution?

Are you asking if the issue is with the RAM? Could be, test it with one RAM stick at a time or with known good new or used RAM. Could be a failing motherboard, dead video card.
