Hello , I got a new dell gaming laptop with
CPU: 2.5 Ghz 7th Gen Intel
GPU: GTX 1050 4Gb
Hard Drive: 1 TB 5400 RPM Hybrid Hard Drive with 8GB Cache
OS: Windows 10
Ram: 8GB DDR4 2400MHz

I have updated geforce experience. I can set the game to ultra and I get 60 fps and if I set the game to low I still get 60fps... why? How can I fix this?

have you tried letting gefroce experience optimize the game for you? and slide it more towards performance? did you play the game in fullscreen exclusive mode? have you already set your OS powerplan to high? and also for your GPU in the contorl panel. 3d graphics settings. global. power mode to high. vsync off.

if those dont work, you will need to download DDU. restart to safe mode. run DDU to clean your graphics drivers. restart to normal mode. install the latest GPU driver.

Set power setting to high from control panel after that check if you have most updated drivers installed on your system after that start game and turn off v-sync from game options and check again.

There are settings in nvidia control panel that can limit fps to a certain ceiling. You can turn that off tho.

Turn off vsync, also check that the 'limit FPS to 60FPS' option is ticked within driver settings. I have my GT1080 limited to 60FPS as my monitor can only do 60fps. Saves energy and the GPU runs cooler. Your limit is due to the laptop's monitor only runs at 60hz. TIP: unless you have your laptop hooked up to a monitor that can go above 60hz, there is no point running your gpu any higher. Your eyes will never see above 60fps.
