Laptop Optical Drive slowing bootup

I have a samsung laptop (NP300E5Z-S01IN). Last year i encountered problems with my laptop optical disk drive and i decided to change it. I got a new drive installed but since then whenever i switch on my laptop, the screen displays the SAMSUNG logo and i see a progress bar at the bottom screen which takes about 40 seconds to complete. I tried installing a third drive to see if the problem goes away but the same thing happened.

Can someone please provide a solution?

Check the boot order of the drives in your BIOS. It sounds to me like your laptop is trying to boot first from the optical drive instead of your HDD.
