hello, so i have a problem with my asus n55s laptop, its a 5 year old laptop and it start overheating last month when the cpu thermal throttle and reach 90c and 99c sometime when only 70% usage, i check the temp by using msi afterburner and HWINFO64.

i decide to open it up and clean the fan with some tooth brush and isopropyl alcohol and also change the thermal paste. the fan was full of dust. clean it up real good until no dust were in sight, the old thermal paste was baked and hard, change it to some non branded thermal paste.i have use this tim before on my desktop and were getting good temp on stock cooler.put it back together but my temp were still the same if not the worse

TLDR: laptop overheat, clean it and change thermal paste, put it back and temperature still the same.
