Question laptop panel replacement downgrade

so i took my old gaming laptop f to get a panel replaced

it had a 1920*1080 ips panel.

but when i got it back i saw he had put a 1366*768 generic panel inside.

not gonna be using this laptop for gaming anymore. just for school,

the colors in the new panel look washed.

should i have expected the same resolution panel?

did he swindle me?

im not really bothered by it, but still.

total:$120.00
$100.00 for parts and $20.00 for labor

laptop specs: hp cb0xx pavilion 2017
ram:12gb(1x4gb - 1x8gb)
gpu:1050 ti
cpu:i7 something
hhd for storage

What did you agree on before handing over the laptop for repair?
Realistically, you should have expected as similar a replacement as possible unless otherwise specified.

ok so i actually didnt specify anything.(lesson learned)
i just went in and said i needed a panel replacement, assuming that he understood that meant i wanted the same resolution panel.

i guess not.
ill be calling him tomorrow to see what we can work out.
